The Jindabyne township is surrounded by a stunning lake surpassed only by the mountains that pose as a backdrop to a town unlike any other.
For many people Jindabyne is the place to stay for those who are seeking the night life or activities outside of skiing, for others it can be a cost effective way to see the snow.
Thredbo,Perisher and Charlotte Pass are a short drive away and are easily accessed from Jindabyne. Snow chains are required to be carried in the Kosciuszko National Park but if your not confident about driving in the snow you can always use the Ski Tube from Bullocks Flat on the Alpine Way which will take you straight to Front Valley at Perisher.
